Preschool Gymnastics

  • Ages: 12 months- 3 years old

    Discover the perfect blend of gymnastics and bonding in our RAC Mommy + Me class! This unique program allows children to explore gymnastics skills while remaining in the comforting presence of their caregiver. Our sessions are designed to foster both physical development and emotional connection through engaging activities tailored for little ones. Join us to nurture your child’s confidence and coordination in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

  • Ages: 2-3 years old

    For boys and girls ages 2 to 3 years old. Child must be 2 on the first day of class. During this class, children learn how to run, jump, tumble, balance, and swing by utilizing all four of the competitive events and trampoline. Basic beginner gymnastics skills include handstands, forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, jumps, pull-ups, and more! Children are also able to interact with their peers, develop listening skills, and learn how to take turns through a variety of activities. In addition, class instructors utilize props to advance your child's ability to identify colors, numbers, letters, and shapes.

    Class Expectations:

    Children should be ready to engage with instructors and participate in group activities and have a basic understanding of how to follow directions and must be able to stay within their group. This is not a parent/child class.

  • Ages: 3-5 years old

    For boys and girls ages 3 & 5 years old. During this 45 min class, children learn how to run, jump, tumble, balance and swing by utilizing all four of the competitive events and trampoline. Basic beginner gymnastics skills include handstands,forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, jumps, pull ups and more! Children are also able to interact with their peers, develop listening skills, and learn how to take turns through a variety of activities! In addition, class instructors utilize props to advance your child's ability to identify colors, numbers, letters and shapes.

    Class Expectations:

    Children should be ready to engage with instructors and participate in group activities and have a basic understanding of how to follow directions and must be able to stay within their group. This is not a parent/child class.

Recreational Gymnastics

  • This is our entry-level gymnastics class for kids five and older. Kids will learn the basic fundamentals on all four of the competitive events. Basic skills include handstands, cartwheels, forward/backward rolls, chin- up pullovers, casts, bridge, jumps, how to balance on the beam and more.

    Students may enroll for Beginner when they are turning 5 years old by/or within the first 4 weeks of the session.

  • This is the next step to learning new skills. Skill progressions include handstand tree fall (vault), back hip circles, glides, (bars), jumps, handstand (beam), round off, back bend, bridge kick overs, handstand forward roll, back handspring drills (floor) and more!

    Prerequisite - Your child must first be enrolled in a Level 1 class and/or have prior gymnastics experience.

  • This is an advanced recreational class! Students are able to learn and practice skills such as standing back handsprings, round off back handsprings, tucks, front handsprings, aerials (floor), handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, twisting dismounts (beam), front hip circles, squat ons, glide kips (bars) and more! ​ We highly encourage all athletes at this level to begin to look at our Competitive Gymnastics team- ZERO GRAVITY!

    Prerequisite - Your child must first be enrolled in Gymnastics Level 2 class and/or have prior gymnastics experience, and be assessed and recommended by a RAC instructor.

  • Level 4 is the pinnacle of our recreational gymnastics program! This class is perfect for gymnasts who have excelled in Level 3 and are eager to further develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students will enhance their existing techniques and learn new, more challenging skills with a focus on safety, strength, and confidence. We highly encourage all athletes at this level to begin to look at our Competitive Gymnastics team- ZERO GRAVITY!

    Skills Covered:

    • Floor: Advanced standing back handsprings, round-off back handspring series, front tucks, front handspring step-outs, multiple aerial variations, handstand holds, and walkover combinations.

    • Beam: Back walkovers, front walkovers, side aerials, advanced beam routines, and more complex twisting dismounts.

    • Bars: Glide kips, front hip circles, back hip circles, squat ons, long hang kips, and introductory casting to handstands.

    • Vault: Front handspring vaults, half-on techniques, and basic twisting vaults.

    Prerequisite:

    To enroll in Level 4, gymnasts must have successfully completed Level 3 or demonstrate equivalent skills. An assessment and recommendation by a Randolph Athletic Club instructor are required to ensure readiness for this advanced recreational training.

  • A specialized gymnastics class is tailored for kids ages 5+ with special needs, led by instructors with expertise in accommodating diverse abilities. Children will engage in activities specifically designed to foster physical and cognitive development in a supportive environment.

    Kids will explore running, jumping, tumbling, balancing, and swinging using adapted equipment and techniques. Basic gymnastics skills such as modified handstands, assisted rolls, adapted cartwheels, and controlled jumps will be taught to enhance strength and coordination, catering to each child's unique abilities.

    In addition to promoting physical movement, our class emphasizes social interaction, communication, and cooperative play. Through structured games and group exercises, children will have opportunities to interact with their peers, practice listening skills, and learn the importance of taking turns in an inclusive setting.

    These class sizes are kept small to ensure a supportive, high-quality experience.

  • Our Adult Gymnastics class is perfect for all experience levels—whether you’re trying it for the first time or getting back on the mat! Work on strength, flexibility, and skills at your own pace in a supportive, fun environment. Ages 16 and up welcome!

RAC offers a structured gymnastics programs with four progressive levels designed to nurture skill development in young athletes. Each level is carefully tiered to support continuous growth. At the end of each session, your child will gain new skills and increased confidence, which they can showcase at our End of Season Showcase.

Additional Classes

  • Our parkour class focuses on developing agility, strength, and coordination through dynamic movements and obstacle courses. Participants will learn techniques like vaulting, rolling, and precision jumping in a safe and supportive environment. Join us to build confidence, improve physical fitness, and have fun mastering the art of parkour!

  • Tumble 1 is perfect for beginners with no prior tumbling experience. Athletes will learn foundational skills and build strength, coordination, and body control.

    Prerequisites: basic comfort with bridge, hollow body, and tight body positions.

    Skills: forward/backward rolls, cartwheel, roundoff, handstand, snap-down, bridge kickover, and intro to front and back walkovers.

    Students may enroll for Beginner when they are turning 5 years old by/or within the first 4 weeks of the session.

  • This class is for athletes ready to level up their tumbling. Focus includes back handsprings, front walkovers, and refining roundoffs. Athletes will build strength, control, and technique to progress safely.

    Prerequisites: Solid roundoff, handstand control, unassisted back walkover, and strong bridge.

    Skills: Standing and roundoff back handsprings, front walkovers, multiples, and intro to aerials.

  • Tumble 3 is designed for advanced athletes ready to build power and learn flipping skills with proper technique and control.

    Prerequisites: Unspotted standing back handspring, connected back handsprings, strong roundoff back handspring, and controlled front walkover.

    Skills: standing and roundoff back handspring tucks, punch fronts, side and front aerials, and an introduction to layouts.

  • Our strength training classes focus on building muscle power, developing core strength, and increasing flexibility. Participants will engage in tailored exercises like bodyweight squats, planks, and dynamic stretching to enhance their performance. Join us to improve your strength, stability, and agility in a fun and supportive environment!

  • Unlock the excitement of cheerleading at RAC with our Stunting Skills Class! Geared towards enthusiasts eager to master the art of stunting, this program is tailored for all levels of experience. Led by our skilled cheer coaches, participants will dive into specialized training sessions focused on learning and perfecting stunting techniques. From basic partner stunts to more advanced group formations, our program is designed to nurture individual growth and teamwork.

  • Acro Tumble is designed for dancers and beginners combining acrobatics with movement and rhythm. The class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and control through foundational tumbling and dance skills.

    Prerequisites: Basic movement skills like chassés, marches, and gallops; ability to move to music with rhythm and control; able to follow directions independently; demonstrates body awareness, balance, and coordination.

    Skills taught: Forward and backward rolls, cartwheel, handstand, bridge and bridge kickover, intro to front and back walkovers, and dance-acro transitions.

Season TWO is open NOW and runs from September - June.

This class has a rolling admission, you may enroll at any point in the season. The End of Year Showcase will be on June 7, 2026.
